Management Team

Dr. John Battler directs consulting engagements in Kline’s Manufacturing Competitiveness practice within Kline’s management consulting division. With more than 35 years of industry and consulting experience, he focuses on manufacturing economics and technology assessment in the chemicals, materials, energy, and consumer products industries. He has a special interest in conducting detailed competitive cost and technology assessments.

Prior to joining Kline, John was a senior consultant with Milliman, developing business continuity plans for manufacturing operations in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and materials manufacturing industries. John earned a bachelor’s degree (with highest honors) in chemical engineering and an MS in chemical engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, along with a doctorate in chemical engineering from Rice University. He is a member of AIChE and past chair of the manufacturing subdivision of AIChE’s Process Development Division.
