Business Development Account Manager, Middle East, Prague, and India

Job Description:

Kline & Company is seeking a highly motivated individual for an account management role based in our Hyderabad, Gurgaon or Prague offices. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of proven success in B2B sales, consultative selling and/or key account management. The candidate should possess a working knowledge of market research, consultation services and multi-client reports. Experience selling to the downstream petroleum or specialty chemicals, is a plus. Travel is required (up to 25%).

   

Responsibilities:

The main objective of this role is to identify and develop new accounts and maintain and grow key accounts for Kline’s Petroleum/Energy and Chemicals and Materials Practices in India and the Middle East. The individual will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to successfully sell our reports in this region. The candidate should have a proven track record in the following areas:

  • Prospecting, targeting and developing new accounts
  • Growing and expanding current key accounts
  • Achieving individual sales targets and forecasting individual sales
  • Leading client meetings, both in-person and online
  • Consultative selling and building long-term client relationships

Skills:
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both in-person and over the phone
  • Proven track record meeting sales goals
  • Negotiation and management of the full sales process and closing deals independently
  • Self-motivated, pro-active, organized over-achiever
  • Experience in consultative selling
  • Outstanding and effective prospecting skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office, experience with web-ex and Salesforce.com
  • Preference will be given to candidates with relevant work experience in the Middle East and Arabic language skills.

Education:

BS or BA is required; Advanced Education in a relevant field is a plus.
