Kline and Company is currently seeking full-time Researchers for their Consumer Products practice within the Global Market Research business. Researchers will be expected to conduct market research for consumer products in different markets around the world as well as expected to conduct in-depth telephonic and in-person interviews with selected industry sources, analyze and interpret the findings, and write syndicated reports and client presentations.
The primary responsibility of this position is to process and analyze raw data.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Data mapping (pairing of source data with standardized master file)
- Understand the main product categories and sub-categories
- Understand the service categories
Perform internet research to understand and classify source data for mapping
Analyze both raw and processed data
Review data for errors and make corrections as needed
Learn and master the online database and its capabilities
Assist in creation of quarterly summary reports
Understanding of Microsoft Office
- Advanced level of Excel
- PowerPoint for Presentations
Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal skills
Keen attention to detail
Self starter with willingness to learn and take initiative
Team player with flexibility to meet common goals
Familiarity with consumer or salon products a plus
