Senior Consultant, Manufacturing Competitiveness Process Industries {India}

Job Description:

Kline and Company is currently seeking a full-time Senior Consultant dedicated to the Manufacturing Competitiveness (MC) Practice within the Process Industries group, serving global companies with techno-economic assessments. This position will be based in one of our two offices in India. As a member of the MC Practice team, your primary responsibility will be to support assessments that address critical strategic investment and operational decisions, focused on the oil refining and petrochemicals industries. Assignments may also be in other process industry segments.

As an MC Senior Consultant, you will:
  1. Use your experience to develop high-level assessments of chemical plants and refinery units for lube oil production and associated offsite requirements for new projects
  2. Define design basis for projects, evaluate and select concepts, develop mass balances
  3. Develop capital investment estimates and assess operating costs
  4. Develop project feasibility and economic analysis to determine viability
  5. Conduct manufacturing cost benchmarking projects across a range of chemical and related process industries

You will also assist the MC project team in:
  1. Analyzing research data
  2. Interpreting findings
  3. Writing interim and final client reports and presentations


Job Requirements:

Qualified candidates will have at least a B.S. in Chemical Engineering or related field. In addition, you will have 10-15 years of experience in process/technology assessments, process engineering, technology licensing, techno-economic evaluations, feasibility studies, or other related experience. You will have good analytical, communication, and presentation skills and be skilled at using the Microsoft Office suite of programs. You will be required, on occasion, to travel outside India to participate in on-site meetings of Kline’s project team or with clients.
