Analyst - Chemicals & Energy - Kline Market Research (KMR) {Gurgaon or Hyderabad, India}
JOB DESCRIPTION
Kline and Company is currently seeking full-time Research Analysts for their Chemicals & Materials and Energy practice within the Global Market Research business. These positions will be based out of Kline’s India offices in either Hyderabad or Gurgaon.
Analysts will be expected to conduct primary interviews with selected industry sources, analyze and interpret the findings and write syndicated reports and client presentations.
Preferred candidates for this position will possess experience in any of the following sectors, among others: value-added chemicals (fine and specialties); polymers and plastics, biocides, excipients, and electronic materials. For the Energy practice experience in downstream heavy specialty products is preferred though not necessary. Experience in benchmarking, competitive intelligence, and market and business research is strongly preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Specific experience in the chemicals industry is required for consultants in the Chemical/Materials practice areas. Prior experience in market research and competitive intelligence is preferred.
- Strong interviewing (both telephonic and face-to-face), primary and secondary research, analytical, communication (written and verbal English proficiency), and presentation skills
- Flexibility to work in different time shifts
- Ability to identify and develop right set of respondents for conducting primary research
- Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering; MBA a plus
