U.S. Beauty and Personal Care Sales Continue to Rise Each Year

Sales of the U.S. cosmetics and toiletries market have topped $42 billion at the manufacturers’ level in 2014, and, for the fifth year in row, the market posted revenue growth, according to the soon-to-be-released data from Kline’s Cosmetics & Toiletries USA report. Uncovering Growth in Today’s Beauty Market

Facing many challenges in 2013, the U.S. cosmetics and toiletries industry has still managed to grow by 2.4% at the manufacturers’ level, which is a slightly lower growth than in 2012. The top 10 companies still control the market, accounting for almost 62% of the total sales, down slightly from 63.5% five years ago.
