Software Product Engineer Core {Gurgaon or Hyderabad, India}

Job Description:

Kline, a global management consulting and market research firm, is looking for an Engineer to join their Product Team. Kline Core has made the move to Azure and are now seeking a data-focused DevOps professional who will help deliver existing data products and to participate in the ongoing digitisation of the core services which Kline delivers to our clients.  

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases in Azure, including schema design, stored procedures and data integrity 
  • Automation of ETL processes with Azure tools 
  • Working with in-house and third party data providers to build rich data sources for creating insight 
  • Working with front end developers and Power BI experts to share and present data and insights for internal and client use cases 

Job Requirements:

Must have:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience in developing and supporting Stored Procedures 
  • Minimum of 2 years Database Administrator experience with Microsoft SQL Server 
  • Minimum of 1 year of Azure SQL Database 
  • Minimum of 2 years experience with SSIS 
  • Minimum of 1 year of constructing and troubleshooting Azure Data Factory pipelines
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in scripting, functional or procedural programming 
  • Proficiency with MS Excel functions
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills. 

Desirable:

  • Proficiency with Power BI 
  • Experience with Angular, Python 
  • Experience with VBA (Macro writing) 
  • Experience with CosmosDB or MongoDB 
  • Azure Certifications a plus
