As the seasons inevitably change, personal care professionals are now returning from summer vacations and getting up to speed with industry developments.

Now that it’s back to business, Kline’s personal care industry experts have been invited to share the latest insights and findings within the anti-aging and natural personal care markets and the retail environment.

First up, on September 18-19, 2012, in New Brunswick, NJ, Happi’s inaugural Anti-aging Conference and Tabletop Exhibition, which will explore topics including product development, market trends, anti-aging marketing, cosmeceuticals, and more. Of particular note, the conference also features a one-day tabletop exhibition with the participation of leading anti-aging segment suppliers. Carrie Mellage, Kline’s Consumer Products Director, will present on Wrinkling Out the Market – Identifying New Growth Opportunities in Anti-Aging, reviewing the latest trends and market performance of the ever more vibrant and promising anti-aging market including anti-aging’s share in the overall beauty market mix, ingredient and technology trends, the hottest and most successful new products, market sales and growth, consumer dynamics, and the future outlook for anti-aging.

The Health Beauty Wellness Marketing Conference in San Antonio, TX, will focus on maximizing emerging opportunities in the beauty and personal care, and health and wellness industries. Nancy Mills, Kline’s Consumer Products Industry Manager, will present Beauty & Personal Care Retailing in the United States: Trends and Opportunities, a timely seminar covering the powerful and steadily growing beauty and personal care industry, with interesting twists and turns in retail channel dynamics. The presentation will highlight current category trends, what is currently selling well, in what kinds of stores, and why, along with the future outlook. Nancy will also cover insights from all channels, including direct (encompassing infomercials, “door-to-door,” and the Internet), specialty (vertically integrated stores and cosmetics specialty retailers such as Ulta), as well as food, drug, mass, and department stores.

The premier European event Natural Cosmetics Conference, focusing on the budding green cosmetics market, will take place on September 25-26, 2012, in Berlin, Germany. The conference promises to reflect the nature of this ever more important dynamic and pioneering market and its impact on the overall personal care industry including the inherent manifold ethical dimension of the natural cosmetics business. The highly informative quality of this event will be further enhanced by a presentation co-delivered by Agnieszka Saintemarie, Kline’s Consumer Products Project Manager, and Ali Khan, Director and Country Head of Kline’s India operations office. Their presentation, Growing Core Markets and Their Potential, will assay the natural, near-natural and certified brand categories, consumer motivation, and other driving forces fueling the natural personal care market.
