HBA Global Expo Conference, which runs from September 15 to 17, 2009, in New York City, will attract a similar number of visitors in 2009 as in the previous year.
Organizers of this trade show say the show is on track to welcome a similar number of visitors in 2009. “We are running slightly ahead on registration compared to last year’s event,” HBA event director Jill Birkett told CosmeticNews. Around 12,000 people have pre-registered for the event to date, including 615 exhibitors and educational partners, Birkett said. The show attracted 16,207 highly qualified industry professionals in 2008.
Kline’s Senior Vice President Jim Weatherall will be attending the event on Thursday. On the same day Carrie Mellage, Director, Consumer Products, will be presenting an overview of the Russian personal care market, with a focus on market dynamics, product trends, the competitive landscape, channels of distribution, and the future outlook in the session called BRIC-BY-BRIC: Strategies for Sales Growth in Hot Global Markets in Brazil and Russia at 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
She will also be presenting a comparative review of the channels of distribution in Brazil, China, India, and Russia in the session on EXPLOSIVE GROWTH IN BRIC ECONOMIES, CHINA AND INDIA: How to Get a Piece of the Action at 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
On Wednesday, September 16, at 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., Kline’s Associate Project Manager Karen Doskow will be moderating THE GREEN CONSUMER session, in which one can hear insights from experts that have established their brands and taken control of the market.
Kline’s Vice President Lenka Contreras, as well as Client Relations Executive Kristy Altenburg, will also be present at the conference.
