New research study from Kline’s I&I practice on floor pads, cleaning tools, and mop heads

Kline & Company is well known in the industrial and institutional (I&I) cleaning industry for research, analysis, and insights on janitorial and foodservice cleaning chemicals, laundry chemicals, and cleaning wipes. This week, Kline is pleased to announce the launch of a brand new report for the industry — Floor Care Pads and Tools: Market Analysis and Opportunities. Research is kicking off this month and will focus on the markets for floor pads, mop heads and floor cleaning tools, key players, brands, and understanding end users’ preferences and usage patterns.

The methodology for developing this analysis will be the same as for our other I&I cleaning studies. Taking a two-pronged approach, Kline’s expert staff conducts in-depth interviews with suppliers, distributors, and industry analysts in order to develop a “top-down” perspective on the market. Simultaneously, Kline conducts structured surveys of 500 decision-makers in key end-use segments, including building service contractors, education, healthcare, hospitality, foodservice, fitness facilities, retailers, and others. The structured surveys with end users provide a “bottom-up” view of the market and help subscribers understand numerous key issues, such as brand/manufacturer awareness, purchase channel trends, online buying, and changes in purchasing over time.

Key deliverables that this study will focus on include usage patterns, market trends, purchase factors, and reasons for usage of disposable versus re-usable floor pads and mop heads. This study is designed to be used as a companion report to Kline’s flagship Janitorial and Housekeeping Cleaning Products report where floor care cleaning chemicals are profiled in depth.
